1000 would be a good starting point. Remember 1000 Spheres equals right at about 12 Pounds.

Depends on how you intend to play...

If you don't use the top hopper (which means you don't get payouts), 500 is more than enough.

If you do... You'll be refilling the top hopper way too many times, especially during fever mode. I'd make sure you have at least 1000 if you want to avoid filling five times during a fever.

2500 would be the max needed for any machine. But that's unnecessary in just about all cases.

    Otherwise, it's up to you.
Currently Own: Nothing. I play mostly online now.

    A good E-Bay site for Sphere's. :

eBay Store - TradersSpace: NOREN, PACHINKO BALLS, FOR THE KITCHEN BAR

I was purchasing So many from him he cut me a Deal in the past for 1000 for $25.00 shipped. Up to 5000 at a time which went in a Flat rate box. 60 pounds of Sphere's in a box for around $9.00 shipped. Each 1000 went in a USPS VCR box then all 5 went into the Flat rate box.

I do not use ball lifters so I made Top hoppers the can hold up to 8000 Sphere's each.

    Needle to say...

I bought from there as well, the balls are clean and they ship quickly. The only down side is you post man HATES you, especially if you order 25,000 like I did.

E-check takes 3-4 days, Instant transfer is Well, Instant.

They both come out of your checking acct.

So if I instant transfer it sucks it directly from my checking account at the bank? and he'll see that i paid etc? that's fine if it sucks it out of my checking acct i just hate that waiting period especially because people want their monies within three days of winning the bid, and sometimes my bank takes up to 7 days to transfer the stupid cash.

Instant transfer comes out of your account as soon as you click the pay button.

IF, you have the cash in your acct.

i have my checking and a credit card on paypal, if i don't have enough in paypal, they transfer from checking or i can have it come out of credit card.

the transfer is instant, but doesn;t show up as coming out of checking on the bank statement for a few days.

i've had people pay with echeck and i hold items till it clears, sometimes up to 5 days, I've been burnt on a few that didn't clear

Someone else warned me off bidding on an Indiana listing once. I think it was for some tokens that were listed cheap. Didn't get the full story, but understood a PT warning well enough not to bid.

One tip from me on buying pachinko balls from Ebay--a couple years ago, I saw somebody selling bags of colored, anodized "Pachinko" balls. I thought they would look great running through the machines in many different colors. So I bought a bag to try out. Except that they are ever so slightly larger in diameter than real Pachinko balls, and were jamming up the machines because they were getting stuck along the paths. It took several calls to a tech to figure out that it was the colored balls at fault. So don't ever get caught buying colored Pachinko balls--the real silver ones direct from the parlors are the only ones I'd ever trust again.
