    Default Triumph Hopper needed

I picked up a Triumph machine, that I got working until it got a hopper jam. Of course I did not recieve a hopper. Would like to get a hopper or some info on the hopper mechanism (ie: which wires go to motor and sensor) to try and sort it out.

    Thanks

sounds odd, so what you are telling us is that you purchased a tokenless machine? The first thing I would suggest would be photos.

No its a token machine that didnt have a hopper. I fed it 3 tokens, wheels spun, then I tried to drop in more tokens and the fourth one showed HJ error. I dont know if it was coincidence or I won and it tried to pay out. Now I cant figure out how to re-set it. It was stuck in a change payout mode when I first plugged it in. Turning the key switch left stepped thru 1-6 (payout mode) somehow I got it set and working.

Ok got the machine all figured out. I can play until it needs to pay out, then with no hopper it gets a hopper error, so the machine actually functions.

I have a hopper from a tango brothers, but it has 7 wires and Triumph needs an 8 wire plug. Tango hopper says 24VDC on it and the triumph plug has 24VAC going to the hopper, so this idea looks like a wash.

Might want to give Stealth a call and see if they have one for it.

post a pic of the machine many of us have spare parts. many machines use the same parts so someone may have just what you need.

I take it that is a Taiyo machine, we still need to see pictures of the base and the point the harness connects to to help out.

Ok RadioShack may have the connector, if not their 9 pin (both pieces will be able to be swapped. I am not familiar with the power supply and will likely not have a direct replacement. If you need help adapting one WE ARE HERE.

your not a wash as you said .if you can figure out what the plug outputs are (should be power output to the hopper motor (2 pins) and at least 3 pins to the sensor that counts the output tokens be it a switch or sensor) its easy to make the a/c motor work just use a 24volt dc relay to switch the a/c motor on and off using the 24volt ac feed from your 24 volt transformer as the dc would have done. the other wires might have been for token overflow or something or not used at all .and your assumption was correct you can operate till it needs the hopper .by putting the 4th token in you made the machine pay 1 back older machines didn't have the selinoid that opened after the 3rd token dropping it back into the tray they went into the hopper and the hopper paid it back.Nice machine by the way .I like the older machines they don't telegraph there intension leaves it more to the imagination .its a real bummer when the match goes out in hanabi's hand and i've only hit one button and already know i've lost already...
