You are most likely in another game mode. It's picking up where you left off.
I wouldn't worry about it, just keep playing and eventually the lights will return to normal.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

If I shut off my Mr. Vampire at the start of a fever, when I turn it on later to play the fever the light show on the door doesn't work.

after the fever everything is back to normal.

    That sounds logical!!

I have been frantically trying to remember if this has ever happened to me,
But I can't recall it, maybe because I play through all the Fevers??

I don't think I could switch a Pachi off in the middle of a Fever or Reach or anything, it just wouldn't be Pachinko and it just wouldn't be right!!

I shut the game off last night after the Fever was over and the bank counter ran out. I played it today and went through a Fever and again let the game fun itself out to an idle state before I turned it off for a half hour. When turned back on the same thing happened. I'll just play it awhile longer and see what happens.

New cabinet on the drawing board. Free standing. 4000 ball hopper capacity with a ball block, shelf for the lower tray dispenser, compartment under that for retrieval of the spent balls from back of the machine to the front. And wired to secure the games when not in use. Also wired for demo play, external volume adjustments (that are kid proof) and ball loading to the top tray from a drop sensor. Shelving underneath for extra ball trays and goodies. Will be able to be built for 1 to any number of machines. I will take in progress PIC's and the finished product.

Busy buying balls right now. Found a place for less than 2 - 3 cents a ball including shipping (when the bidding is right) at 1000 ball lots each. 2 dollars off each additional lot won for each day of bidding.

Was it a even or odd number fever? Odd numbers are usually 'Big' fever, even are 'Regular'. Your chance of a fever after a Big is greater. This will continue if you always get odd number fevers until you get a even number fever. After an even number fever, it usually goes to the 100 spin, then back to normal.

Compirate, that was exactly what I was going to say.

Some machines have a special fever that does it too. Gladiator got 9 gold fluir-de-le (boy scout symbols) one time (all drums yellow) and until it finished a regular fever the lights flashed different and was in a honeymoon time all the time. After the regular fever it made a odd series of notes and it went back to normal (red glowing effect). Then the machine got really tight with fevers for months and caused me to go shopping for another machine.
