How much is a Super Black Jack worth in the UK?

I can't believe that after spending so much decideding whether I should buy a Super Black Jack, I have decided that I don't like it.. Just can't get into it.

I love my Sapp, Neo Zetz and King Camel (so I know I like Pachislos), but SBJ is my least favourite.. I think that its down to the fact that I am a 'Technology Geek' and love "Hi-Tech", and SBJ isn't doing it for me.

I am not saying that its bad, its just doesn't do it for me..

I just wondered whether its worth changing it for something I would appreciate.. I am thinking that Tekken might be more up my street, as it still has the LCD screen, but is slight more 'Hi-Tech'.

I was led to believe that SBJ was quite expensive, when compaired to other machines, so I just wanted to find how out much I should expect to get for it, so that I could work out whether it was viable to change it for something else.

Any info would be appreciated

If it helps ... Bought mine from Steve in Hartlepool for £99 on E-bay around 4 months ago.

They are wanted - but the prices, on average seem to be dropping (Huray!) - For example, Beast Sapp would normaly sell at £200+, but now can be picked up for around £110/£120, again on a "Buy it now" on Ebay!

Obviously.. Which is why I am asking! I am assuming that others have bought them who can say how much they paid and also others who are thinking about buying one, in which case they can also say.

well the average price i have seen them for is about £85 - £105

Interesting (And a little disappointing).. When I bought it, I actually upgraded from an El-Vision machine (which was faulty) and was told that "it was worth more" and I was getting a "free" upgrade as a favour!

I looks like this might not have really been the case!

I may stick it on Ebay (or even in the classified section) just to see if there is any interest.. I guess that if I can get £100+ for it, its worth the extra £50 to go for Tekken!

Maybe at the time it was worth more. Since my time being into this i have seen that prices go up and down thoughout the year i.e xmas is a good time to sell as prices seem to go up but there is more competion as everyone who sells them will be trying to do so at this time of year

You said you got it as a replacement am i correct, if so and depending on how much it was i would go back to the peron that sold it to you.

I bought 'package' from 777Heaven of 3 Pachislos and 1 Pachinko.. But the Planet999 was broken, so because everyone recommended the SBJ so much, I asked to have that instead of another El-Vision.

It was suggested that the SBJ was more expensive than the El-Vision, but I have no idea of individual prices as I paid for everything in one go.

I'm starting to see a few more private sellers now in the UK, but previously it was only 777 Heaven who was selling. As for what you'll get for it now, you'll probably find the price has dropped. It might be best to sell it locally or to someone you know. I'm selling a Jet Set Radio, but expect to lose some on it. Having kept an eye on what they've gone for on Ebay previously, I've seen machines go from £50 up to £110 on a private auction. I'm not sure whether people actually look for particular models or not - Thunderbirds always seems to be popular, due to the theme (probably non-pachi owners buying). I'm not sure what you'll get for SBJ though, it's pot luck. I've put mine on classifieds and just hope that someone comes along who wants a JSR. To be honest Jon, I don't think the market is big enough or established enough to be able to suggest a suitable price when selling. Your best bet might be to put it up for a bit more but sell it through a local paper - you might find someone willing to pay more if they can see it and avoid shipping costs. One other bit of advice, you should find that Steve will pass the warranty on to whoever buys it - you'd just need to send him their details once it's gone. That could be a good selling point.
