    Question dodgy machines

Just taken delivery of Thunderbirds clasic Pachinco. On set up I noticed that the pins around the bonus ball holes had been bent to prevent any balls going in the pockets. Totally impossible, you could not even push them in! No problem straightening them but what I wondered was, if the Pachinko parlour is dodgy enough to bend the pins up like this, can they also set the winning frequency of the spin screen to fewer than normal wins. Comparing it to my Pink Panther machine it seem to hit fever very very rarely. Or could my Pink Panther have been set to high wins , as it does seem to go into fever fairly often??

We are not aware of any electronic way of setting the odds on a pachinko, it's all done with the nails. Various models of the same machine are produced with different payout and percentages. It always benefits the hobbiest to do the homework on their intended purchases to make certain they know how many models of a particular pachinko were produced and which model they are actively purchasing.

Our museum is a great jumping off point for the search for this information. We have over 500 pachinko's listed and linked to other sites that contain the different models and percentages information.

Bend your nails back to allow the balls to enter, even open them up further if you choose. Remember it's in your home for fun, it's no longer a gambling device and nothing says it has to be hard.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

    Cheers for that reply.
I just wondered if there was a method on the Pachinko of adjusting the win rate on the spins like there is on the Pachislo machines.
