I'm on the upcoming facebook group buy where I am going to be receiving a pachislot, 3 pachinkos, and I own a 2004 pachinko already. I just have a few questions since I am preparing for their arrival with parts from both aliexpress and yahoo japan (buyee.jp).

1) On the volume knob installations is there any tips on finding the speaker wires so you can splice in a volume pot? I know I can just randomly cut one speaker wire for the volume pot install but all the posts I found online make it sound difficult to find the wiring. On my old 2004 it is easy to find the top speaker wiring but I never did the mod because I didn't have a front glass key to trace the lower speaker wiring. Just wondered if there was tips especially if anyone found a semi consistent way with 2020+ pachinkos to find the speaker wiring at the main pachinko board instead of back tracking from the speakers. I have five machines to do so I wanted to ask. Also, does anyone have any tips on volume pot placement if the machines are sensitive signals. Most videos I've seen have the knobs either at the lower right or top right but I think we've all seen those a-pachinko videos.

2) I have five data counters coming from buyee.jp. I'm not worried about my pachislot data counter since they have a keyed plug for the data signals but on the pachinko machines I won't have a nice wiring diagram to tell which wires you typically plug into cm3-cm5 on the back of the pachinko. Not all the wiring is used with data counters. Are there certain color standards for the wires or is it common after plugging it into a 24v transformer to basically play with the wiring pairs on the data counter and figure out which is a ball launch, which is a jackpot, and can't remember what the third pair does for a home pachinko setup. I have 2 of one pachinko data counter brand, 2 of another pachinko counter brand, and the pachislot counter is a third brand.

3) I don't know if all my new pachinko machines will have adjustable odds but supposedly the namco collection pachinko can be adjusted according to plasma fusion who also mentioned that all/most pachinkos newer than 2020(ish) could be adjusted with a settings key. My question is how do you know when my pachinko arrives I am playing at the better odds or the worse odds? With it coming from a live environment I doubt it arrives on easy odds but that is not a guarantee. I'm hoping you can tell by which way that key slot is facing.
