Default Putting the Lottery in Perspective

    Come on Mega-Millions!

There are a few assumptions in these calculations.

If you are the sole winner:

    $85,000,000 cash (after taxes) = 10,285,000,000Y

In a parlor, you could 'rent' 2,571,250,000 balls.

Firing 1 ball per second, assuming you didn't win anything, it would take you 177.89 years to play them all (parlor open 11 hours a day).

To win that kind of money would take 25,712,500,000 balls or 11,427,778 fevers (2250 balls per fever).

    人生は恐れなければ、とても素晴らしいものなんだよ。
    人生に必要なもの。それは勇気と想像力、そして少しのお金だ。
