    Default Coin feeding problem

I'm not sure what to call this part so please excuse my ignorance. I have a Thunderbirds machine which works fine when first switched on but as the hours pass I find that I am unable to feed coins in after the reels have spun for up to 2 minutes. The problem is that the relay (at least I think that is hat it's called) that controls the coin shute does not click back into place so the coins return to the payout tray. Does anyone know what I can do about this?
It's not too big a deal it just means that I have to wait until I hear the click which can be a little annoying to say the least.
