    doc's right the machine is authentic and is a 100 volt machine and should be ok once you locate a new power supply as for the voltage converter plug it in and put a meter on it and make sure the output is 100=120 volts before plugging the new machine into it .if its correct put some super glue in the switch so it hardens and is un switchable and you wont need to worry about it again .
