I've been thinking about getting or making a "Penny Falls" (or one of the other nice UK penny arcade games that I loved for my games-room-to-be) when I came across this must have gem from Japan:

wow a crawfish vending machine.. they think of everything dont they...
i can imagine getting a lobster vending machine and taking your date to a fancy restaurant and letting her plug in coins in the hopes that she will grab a lobster..

All Crawfish are baby lobsters, which is great to rip their little heads off and suck out their brains with a deep red wine.
You need 12 pounds of crawfish to get full tho . . . . .

Nova Scotia lobsters they're not! But perhaps that's so they can squeeze through the prize slot. Wonder if they give you a bag (or a leash)?

Yeah, they are rather small. I'm not sure where lobsters in Japan are from but they have much smaller than ones in western countries (expensive too - usually US$30-$50 for one!).

They give you a small plastic container. I saw one kid win while I was in the area the machine was.

penny falls is an old arcade game over here where you have a machine with what looks like a pachinko bord on the back you put pennys in the top and they slide down the nails onto a moving shelf they stack up and fall off the shelf onto another platform where they stack up again untill you "skillfully" cause the pennys to stack up and fall off the last shelf into a collection tray where you win all the pennys that fall into the tray the machine is is a childs sea side favorit here and the sea front arcades always have them in il post a pic if i can find one

If you ever figure out what the technical name for it is, Please let me know!!!! been wanting one of those for years!!!!! places like chuckie cheese and gattis has them but they are set up for tokenes, but if you pop a quarter in, it still works.

Thr real ones are coming up at about £65 but i suppose they wouldent be cheap to ship
