My meager pachislo collection is about to increase by one machine. Not much of an increase numerically, but a big increase in the quality level of the collection. It should be here by the 30th.

Which machine will it be?

Wow what a guess! I saw many posts where you Logic, and Lddrizzt, slotter, Lucky, and Tony J, all people whose opinions I trust, mentioned over and over again that Tulsa's favorite machine was the K1. I had already decided to follow Tulsa's recommendation to go for quality rather than quantity, when I stumbled upon all the posts about K1 being his favorite.

Now, reading your post and Lucky's, I'm beginning to wonder if you guys were just being sarcastic at the time? Come to think of it, some of the posts were on the Contest thread.



Anyway, good guesses you guys, but no. Not K1, Pink Bell or Catfish.

Not sure why you're all ditzing the K1 so much? It's a quality product with a well thought out design and by leaps and bounds the most playable [cough] [gasp] [wheeze] machine I've ever come across. I am proud (shoot me now) K1-Punch Rush owner.

My only advice is get lots of tokens for it, I mean a LOT of tokens, Mike!

Something on the order of 3000 to 5000, then put about 3 or 4 in the hopper, use the rest for playing.

That is one of the stingiest machines I have played, outside of a casino quarter machine.
But you'll love it.

I was looking up specs on Spin Luck and it has a somewhat unique way of dumping bonuses, kind of similar to Bingo for anyone who's played that machine before too. I'll try to explain it a little later if I can get a good translation of it.

Tony, the hopper actually holds 3 or 4 thousand tokens? It must be huge. I think I put 1000 or so, maybe a bit more, in the Sinbad Adventure and Hot Rod Queen and that's about all they'll take.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to playing it. I just need to rearrange a few things to get a place to set it up.

Thanks, Logic. Yes, your K1 post and Lucky's Pink Bell and Catfish post were pretty funny. Everyone here has a great sense of humor, that's what makes sharing our hobby so much fun.

I bet Tulsa will be a bit on edge this week awaiting my post of the Spin Luck serial number. If it's 218, he'll probably be sending me his K1 just to get even with me.
