Vintage Ginza Pachinko - $75 youngstown

This vintage Pachinko by Ginza measures 33" tall x 21" wide x 9.5" deep. Marked Made in Japan...reconditioned in USA. The front of the wood frame is laminated with formica (or similar laminate). The back enclosure is plastic. The machine operates and includes a supply of metal balls and a plastic tray to catch the balls ejected in the back. The trigger mechanism operates, but if a quantity of balls are in the tray/chamber, it often throws multiple balls. This may be an adjustment that can be made. We have been able to hit the jackpot, which releases the stash of jackpot balls. There is wiring in back that is not connected (wires lead to a connection which is behind the top left corner of the game side of the machine...we do not know what it does). This was purchased second-hand in the 1980s. We do not know the actual manufacture date. We do not have a key for the front door, but the door can be tripped from the back.

Nice looking machine. It looks very similar to a Kyoraku machine. Also seems a little high priced, IMO.

From the shape of the top tray, looks like it could be a front overflow...but that is a pretty long drop.
