Tarot Master reset key question and "should I buy it?"

I'm talking with a guy who has a Tarot Master for sale. He says he has the door key, but there is no inside key. I asked him to look at the power supply and he says it has buttons and rockers, but no key and no place that looks like it needs a key. Could it be he doesn't know what to look for, or perhaps someone has changed out the reset key for a toggle or rocker.

Also, he is asking $60 and it only comes with 50 tokens or so. It's a 50 miles out and 50 miles back trip, for me to pick it up. Worth it?[/TD]

I would say that someone has put a rocker switch in because of no key. It's what I would do (and have done) if I had no inside key. Only 50 tokens means you will have to buy more. You will have to factor that into the total cost. A Plain Jane pachislo w/50 tokens probably not worth it to me...but one that calls to you when you see it, well ...now that's a different story. 100 miles round trip...all I can say is it is way cheaper than shipping! Figure 500 tokens is going to cost you about $35 or so.

I had a tarot master once upon a time. Kind of a fun machine. It has a top spinner which is a little different. I only paid fifty for mine and it had alot of tokens so I could hardly go wrong. Sent it to mopar a couple of years ago.
