yeah,they sometimes put plumber or electrician decals on them,so they would appear to have a reason to be parked in the street all day when they are spying on somebody.

my house was being watched for 2 days about 20 years ago, someone had told the cops we were hiding a fugitive in our home.

we had saw the van sitting across the street a few doors down for a few days and didn't think anything of it.

finally a dectective came to the door and showed us a picture and asked if we knew the person they were looking for, then asked permission to look around for him.

afterwards, he said it was a false tip and left, we never saw the van again.

when i talked to my neighbors about it, they had all said the police had asked them if they had seen the guy around our home.
