Sorry to my friends on the other side of the pond, but I couldn't be happier about this with coming over to Florida next week.
In fact I have just got the suitcases out ready to start to pack and inside the case I found a transaction slip that showed the exchange rate we got the last time we went to Florida. This was in 2000 and then we got $1.41 to every £1. This time we will get very near to $2.00 to every £1.

Well then, I'm happy for you and hope that it makes for an even better vacation for you. We travel to Egypt every summer and we get about $6 Egyptian pounds for every US Dollar. Makes us feel like we are living large

The Canadian dollar is up too!!
I just won something from Canada, they usually want U.S. dollars in paypal.
With their strong dollar they wanted payment in Can Dollars.

Yes the Canadian dollar is higher than the US dollar for the first time since November of 1977...
cant blame them really, just like the USA sellers selling on ebay UK and asking for British pounds.

Sorta sucks for me... My wife and I are going to Rome in four weeks. $1.44 for one euro...BOOOOOOOOOOOO It was $1.16 when we went for Paris.
