    Default Severe Weather

Severe Weather is wreaking Havoc in the UK right now

Where I live in the East Riding of Yorkshire - it is particularly bad...

At Work our vehicles are having to pull off the motorways as water is flooding into the Vans through the floor - and these are new Vans!!

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/6236234.stm

I hope the rain doesn't carry on like this or my house may well slide away...

So If I don't log in tomorrow please send a search party...

We'll send some one out to find you dont worry...

    on another note

we too had a problem with a work van taking on water...

but that was totally unrelated to the weather...

Well I currently am working from home and remotely accessing my Office Computer...

    In between my PachiTalk commitments

Well I Just had to collect my Daughter from School, it is closing due to flooding and she is most upset that the School Trip tomorrow to collect River samples has been cancelled - I told her if it carries on raining like this we will be able to gather samples of the river right outside our front door!!

Hull has been declared a State of Emergency

My Father & Mother are stuck miles away in Leeds trying to get back home following their holiday - the roads appear to be closed

The Wookie is stuck in Hell (Hull) trying to find a road that is still open - so he can get home

My Office in Hull is closing - as it is in danger of being swamped too

and the rain is coming down faster and faster

Certainly good news to know that your Dad is safe, Ang.

I'm sure that the Wookie will be fine too.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all over there 'across the pond' as you endure the weather!

The Wookie finally made it home too - there is now only one road into Hornsea open, as the Mere (Lake) here has now come over the road

First thing you need to do is get two of every pachi you can get your hands on. Then start building a boat, a really BIG boat. Oh, and you're gonna need some NEON too,,,,
