Sinbad Adventure sword

Hi Guys
When im playing on my sinbad you get the scene with the chest at the top of a temple, what does the sword mean when it pops out, you als get this when sinbad and monkey are on the raft and monkey runs up the palm tree. When he gets the sword sinbad has a question mark above his head.

What does this mean?

Now I have wondered about this too......

and I think, but am not certain, that it means you have a chance of getting a win, although I seem to miss it....

Perhaps someone can enlighten us?

All I know it means I lost, never won anything with it showing.
on topic, what do we have to hit to defeat the cyclops?

I'm not 100% sure but it seems when the sword shows up you switch lands. It might go from mts. to river or river to cave ect. At least I found that happens most of the time. As for defeating the cyclops, I don't think you have any control over that. Its up to game to let you win or not.

Pitty there isn't full english manuals then we wouldn't be guessing all the time, ah well thats some of the fun learning what does what etc..
