Has anyone ever taken a good look at their Sphere's to see how many different symbols are on them and tried to translate the symbols to see what they say?

I have been keeping each unique ball engraving in a ziplock bag. I should translate them, but I have been lazy ><
I have 37 unique balls, and I am sure that there are more.

I need to dig out the bag again but I have around 200 balls that are different. I have gone through all 24,000+ of them one at a time (OCD) and pulled them out each time I saw a new one

I know I have several varities. Now I'm gonna have to pull a few. I do know I have some with english letters and some with "pictures" such as a star and the Playboy Bunny.
I don't think my eyes could stand looking at all 4,500 I have much less 24k!

I guess a lot of share this OCD thing.
I went through the balls that came with the farm dirt encrusted sanyo and found the most variety of any of my old machines. at least 10 different styles, and I did sit there with my dad and have him try to translate them. got boring after awhile.
suppose it's just like how many casino chips could you collect. if there are thousands of pachinko parlors now, not including ones that closed, this could be a very, very tough collection to make.
I'm pulling the nicer looking ones for the pachinko jewelry. then I can show them off to non-pachi types.

On second thought i can just take the picture now.. you will have to excuse the lighting... its 1am and working under an econo bulb is not ideal.. ( i knew i should have made that macro light ring this weekend..)

i would not say every one cause lets face it i have not seen them all... but IMHO all true pachinko ball has some kind of engraving in it
