I'm bit sure if the ball shooter is damaged, but the balls jam far too often, and it looks damaged. Does anyone else have the machine to show a comparison photo of the shooter? And, does anyone have suggestions for repairing it?

So the shooter hammer is in the forward position on Blastronaut's machine. Is that normal? If not, perhaps something is amiss with the linkage at the shooter?
DrDark, is there something in front of the ball shooter spring. Looks like an l-shaped metal shelf. Is that what I'm missing? Because it was working fine before, but I don't see anything lying around that might have fallen off.

The spring and hammer on mine is down when not shooting. It sits about 1 inch below the ball rest (hole).
Im not sure I see the bracket you mention.
Is it possible something is preventing your hammer from making a full stroke?
