Default Questions if someone goes to the Museum in Japan

Thought it would be interesting to start a thread of possible questions we'd like answered in the event anyone ever makes it to the Pachinko Museum or possibly a manufacturer over in Japan.

    1. How to tell the date of manufacture

    2. Did the machines before the electronics age have names?

    3. ?

This one is probably not to difficult to understand - it was cheaper and easier for manufacturers to simply re-use the centre feature and change backgrounds to get a 'new' machine. You see the same thing in Western manufacture of pinballs and so on from the 40-60's and even beyond.

But for Luckydog's question, I need an example of the NAME of such a machine please, because I think I have an answer for you, if you can confirm an example machine name(s) for me to check.

We can take this offline (PM) if you'd prefer I don't 'crap up' the thread with this stuff?

I'd ask about how the size of the balls came about. probably a dumb gaijin question lol
This game induces a kind of hypnosis, a strange feeling of happiness. Winning is hardly important. But, time passes. You lose touch with yourself for a while, and merge with a machine and perhaps you forget, what you always wanted to forget.....

This would be an interesting one. I have an aunt by marriage, born in Japan. She has been to my home only twice in recent years as I am in PA and she is in South Carolina... She showed NO interest at all in playing my machines and when she mentioned them, it seemed that it was with a bit of disdain.
