Red face question about my machine *click noise*

hey guys.. 1st time post, so be nice

have owned a pachinko machine for 10 years. very seldom played, as we were still trying to find a 'place' for it.

recently I started it up again, and it reminded me of a question I have.
it does a loud clicking sound,,, just sitting there. is it supposed to? click...click...click...click etc.
so i never keep it plugged in when not in use ( I don't think you are supposed to anyway , are you?)
soooo is this clicking normal? everything always seemed to run ok.

    Hello, welcome to PachiTalk!!

What pachinko do you have?? I'm presuming it's a modern, but wondering which one

If you are not sure, you can always post a pic and the members will probably be able to identify it for you

Not sure what sort of 'clicking' you are hearing, but does it have enough balls in the top hopper at the back, or perhaps it's trying to pay out and doesn't have enough pachinko balls, or a ball jam somewhere

Is it functioning normally in every other way?? does it payout etc etc

    Has it always 'clicked'??

I know that mine click when there is a payout to be happening and the hopper is empty. Filled the hopper and let it cycle and the clicking stopped.

There is a group of Pko's made in the 80's to early 90's which the payout mech constantly clicks when turned on.
It's normal. In a parlor there would be so much white noise players would not even notice.
    When was your machine made?

    ok does this work enough?

finally got out a flashlight ( duh) & found where it is clicking. which is in the area above the red container.
the 2 white blades turn & click with a "latch" hitting them. it keeps moving the whole time the machine is plugged in.
sooooo is this normal? the noise is just annoying, does this area get lubricated at all?

& can someone tell me what year this is from & name?

btw to the other questions. the hopper is full, I have 1000 balls for the machine.

    to another question
how do you deal with the bottom bucket filling up & then getting the balls into the hopper on top?
especially where I see many of you install this into a wall!
I have decided to run a tube(pipe) out the side of the machine into a catch bucket to then dump then into top hopper.
anyone have somethign similar? I have searched through many of the posts but can't find anyone who solved this ( yea I read about the ball lifter systems.. uh no.not into it that much )

well if you dont like lifting your balls to the top hopper then a nice ball lifter is then best way.. but keep in mind with all the noise the lifter will make you will never hear the ticking of your machine again...

I'm intrigued, can you give us a clear picture of the lower left corner of the playfield with the door open or a picture of the white writing on the back center? Those are the name of the game.

The Error code thread has been moved to the pachislo forum and is to be found at this link
    error help!!!

Best to keep the replies to this one in the pachislo thread, as the Pachislo minded members will see it, they may not frequent the pachinko section as often

Hopefully that will get you a quicker response

    Good Luck

Yea I think thats normal. Mine has always done it to and I have a Fever Queen 2. Same frame and similar layout different theme of course. I took a long hard look at that area. It seems its setup so that a payout ball will fall into one of the blades which will cause another to catch and payout.

I believe thats how they designed the payout mechs back then.
