Heading to Long Island

What should we check out while there? We plan on hitting the "touristy" spots - what should be at the top of our list?

It might be a little too cool for Jones beach

most of the action is in New York city.

It's just a short train ride from Long Island and no parking worries.

My brother and his family live in Mineola.

Ahh, my old stomping grounds. You can try and catch an Islanders game while your there. When are you going? I'm always going back and forth visiting my mom and other faimly there. The fall is a nice time, apple and pumpking picking out east. Might be getting to late for that though.

When I was stationed at the Pentagon in 1964-65 I often visted my brother, I got to make about 5 trips to the World's fair.

the globe and twin towers are still there and its now a large park.

Freedomland theme park is long gone now and so is the Undergroud Church.

both were very nice places to visit.

I also went club hopping in the evenings with my nieces.

Me and 4 beautiful girls guys would always be wondering what my secret was
