Power Problem?

I have a problem with transformers on this m/c.
It runs on 100 watt so it came with a 100 watt externel transformer
no problems for a couple of hours then the transformer blew.
Got a new one the same 240 volt U.K. 100 watt, Same problem after a while it blew.
No probelms with m/c running it works fine just blows transformers.
Got a third transformer this time 150 watt, and it blew the transformers are running very hot.
I would be grateful for any help pleeeeeeeease.

how many amps are the ones you are using, you may need one with higher amperage

the standard pachislo with just the common bells and whistles draws around 120 watts max (thats 24 volt at 5 amps ) the better machines with large lcd displays draw around 192 watts max (24v at 8 amps ) if i where you id try the 8 amp transformer and see if it still heats up as hot . if so you have a short somewhere ..
