Budweiser slot on ebay

There is a Budweiser skill-stop slot machine on ebay. It is made by Aruze and the auction number is 6253470213
Do you think its a custom or did they really make this machine? Its only about 10 miles away from my house.

I'm not sure, I was not in the pachi loop back then. I know he was doing them a year and a half ago

I feel the same way, but the good thing about dapperdan is that he explains that his machines are custom made and doesn't try to pass them off as something else.

You are very right. It says it was made in 1999 but after thinking about it the custom could have been done anytime. You would think it would be illegal with copyrights and everything. I'm surprised ebay allows it.

You gotta watch some of those "customs." Some people (Not dapperdan) only change the belly glass on older machines and call them "custom."
You see a lot of those on e-bay.

It seems the vendor doesn't have much enthusiasm for it either! "I do not know much about it...no tokens....no key...blah blah blah." What a sales pitch!

And you're contributing to copyright fraud... it's like trying to buy authentic "Gucci" on eBay, oh my. But then I guess for some people the difference between authentic and fake doesn't matter (and there's nothing wrong with that...).

THose Bud machines were all over the place about a year ago.
THat is definately not a Dapper Dan machine. It was most likely a Hanabi originally.

Looking back at his auctions today, am not sure that he ever did a Budweiser... He liked Betty Boop, Monopoly, specialty sport teams, etc.

Well,that does it for me,I just don't have room in my collection for fakes. These things take the fun out of the hobby if you ask me.

I agree, for the true hobbyist there is no place in our collections for these. But for the average guy looking for an addition to the gameroom customs might be a good choice.

I picked up my first machine (New Trad) at an auction (Super auctions)and almost got a custom because I liked the theme. I didn't know jack about these machines and if I hadn't stumbled upon another forum (I will not mention the name ) and finally made my way here that machine would have been my last.

Customs are great for specific themes that a person may be looking for. But for us hobbyist, There is no room for customs.
