It was the 2002 Lupin III that first got me interested in pachinko. It came in that awesome silver Heiwa case.

Alternately, it was the 1998 Lupin the 3rd that hooked me into the game since it was my first over $1000 win. That's how I got my handle and my avatar is one of the few "premium" reaches in the game.

Nope though there are some machines with that Indy Jones, pyramid, adventure kind of theme in them.

It seems that you'd want to add that Lupin III 2002 model to your collection, Tulsa?

Na, I have the Thunderzone in that case and to be honest, it was the case I was really after. After starting off with pachislos and getting a few less than collectible machines, I decided I wasn't going to get just any pachinko I could afford and get only the premium models or near premium since I didn't really have a clue at the time which those were.

That case was by far the best looking case on the market and the Thunderzone is even better looking in that case than the Lupin III was. Not having a connection to that theme, the Thunderzone is a more generic theme that anyone would love. It works better for me and overall for the American market, it's a much better seller.

If the frame is all aluminum, with no wood, how do you attach wooden feet? Do you have to drill a hole in the aluminum on the bottom, and use metal screws, vs. wood screws to attach them?

But wait AC...Tulsa has a machine with the same case (Thunderzone), and he doesn't mount his pachinkos on walls. Wonder what he came up with.
