How many Balls???

For those following my recent posts you know I just got the Pink Panther Pachinko. It came with 500 balls which is obviously NOT enough. Can you experts please tell me how many I should have total.

I also saw a post recently for a sale on the pachinko balls and couldn't find it.
If you recall where I can find that SALE on balls that would be great info.

I would suggest you have around 1200-1500 mininum to play a non-cyclic machine without a lot of hassle.

I have 1,500 for Nurse betty, 1,500 for Fever King and 100 for cyclic Bunny Girl

2500 for me on any newer non-cyclic machine. This is my minimum number to play with. You're not having to move nearly as many balls around during a fever round and that's always going to make it more enjoyable.

or think about going half cyclic for the best of both worlds

Even at semi-cyclic you're going to need loads of balls. Semi-cyclic they are brought back to the front automatically and easier to get to but you're still going to need a bunch to enjoy the play without too many interruptions.

I would agree with Tulsa that 2500 is about the right number. However, a lot of it depends on how you are planning to handle the balls. The machine itself can hold a relatively small amount of balls so depending on what you are planning to do with regards to a cabinet/ball handling mechanism will dictate how many balls you need.

1500 is my bare minimum for a newer non-cyclic machine but I like to have 2500 standing by just in case.

I have 2600 in a strong cardboard box sat on top of my machine (the prize fund) and a separate tube dumping spent balls in a tub right next to me.

I start with 400 in my win tub.

When I hit fever I tip my win tub into my spent tub each time it fills up and count how many win tubs I've won.

Then once, maybe twice, per fever I empty the spent tub into the prize box.

I understand that, have a prize doughnut if you do too

Besides having balls for play,
You'll want to accessorize your pachi room with a pyramid of heaping ball trays.
