Default T2, Super Black Jack or Sinbad Adventure ?

    Hello,
This my first post, happy to join your forum

I'm about to buy my first slot, i can only afford one machine at first, and i'm hesitating between 2 good machines, the super black jack or sinbad adventure.

At first i wished to buy a T2 but after reading lots of reviews and video in the museum i'm now hesitating.

I like the 'last vegas' like theme of the super black jack and ruleset seems deep but i'm also looking for that interresting full lcd of the sinbad and it's also a cool theme for my children that would probably play with it too (lights and money,no boy can resitst )

    Any opinion ?

personally I like the Super Black Jack better.

But if its your 1st machine, then draw straws to choose because most likely it will not be your last. It's an addiction.

    Thanks,

Are rules deeper on black jack or equivalent ? What about the T2 in comparison (i like the theme) i'm also looking the thunderbirds as an old fan

I'm sure these 4 are good one, but i have to make a choice, hard...

Of the two I've played, Super Blackjack and Thunderbirds, SBJ is the better of these two. I love the thunderbirds theme, that's my attraction to it. The SBJ has deeper game play and is built a lot better.

I've not played the Sinbad but the theme is cool enough and T2, I can't truly say at all. I own the original Terminator that had Arnold on it and has a voice, presumably his saying various things. The T2 came after Arnold sued IGT. It was the beginning of Sammy making the IGT pachislos. So to me it's a Sammy machine.

    Welcome to the group.

I never played Super Blackjack but I hear it was a very good game. I own a Sinbad Adventure, Beast Sapp and King Camel. And Sinbad is The family Favorite. I like all 3 in there own way and play them pretty equal but the kids and the wife play Sinbad 99% of the time. So I would say Sinbad as a first and then Super Black Jack next.

Welcome to the forum and to Pachi-addiction! I have a Hanabi Hyakkei which is a full LCD machine like the Sinbad Adventure, I've heard that SA is even better (game play wise) than Hanabi Hyakkei and certainly it is more a family theme slot. Everyone likes the video animations, but my young son (who has no previous "slot" experience) gravitates more to King Camel because of all the kooky sounds, antics and music.

Ultimately each persons choice of pachislo comes down to personal preferences, hopefully after doing a bit of reading, reviewing other people's preferences, a little luck, and even better if you can go out and try the machines somewhere local.

Those who can't decide start collecting them (each one is a different experience, of course).

And right you are, the T2 plays a lot like Fire Drift. It has the multi-scened "missions" (pass all three scenes and you will win a bonus round). The case is definately Sammy...with the two little blue inserts to the right of the reels stops. Has anyone ever seen these two holes being used for anything? It's almost as if they had planned doing a record review sort of feature but never put the time into it. Still a fun machine to play. I havent received my Sindbad Adventure yet so I can't comment on which is better.

Hey Papo! Welcome! Sorry I can't speak for Super BJ but I have two Eleco machines with the large LCD similar to Sinbad. We love them and I wouldn't underestimate the "attractive to kids" angle with the video screens and the cute animations. The more the kids like it and play it, the more it's viewed as family entertainment and the better the chances that you'll get approval from the "boss" to get more machines.

    Thank you all,

My wife likes card games too, so let's go for a SBJ that looks more adult and look a bit less 'plastic' than sinbad (but just a guess from pictures)

I'll come back to give my opinion and probably tons of questions on "how to..."

Pleasing the wife always trumps pleasing the kids or yourself. Good luck with it!

    Hello,

I received my white SBJ, nice, and i have questions as the user guide I received with is quite basic and not specific to my game:

Does this machine have changeable 'skill' option (i wish to set easy for my children) ?

I found how to change payout / credit option and also how to change the volume by pressing the internal speaker button plus external buttons, but there is another button 'Timer' do you know its function?

Apart changing volume, do the 2 small external buttons in the right have any function while playing ?

Is there a 'setup' screen to change various settings ?

Is a F.A.Q about this game available somewhere on Internet ?

    Many thanks !

Check in our tips and tricks section on the reseting procedure. There are also multiple posts about how to change the volume on this machine. Just use the search engine.

I read the pdf faq on the site, and i can change volume, no problem.

In fact i'm trying to understand the meaning of the two external right buttons and the internal 'Timer' button.

Unfortunaletely I don't have the key to change odds level, or maybe the key is hidden somewhere in the machine ?

dont worry if you havent got the key you can put a toggle switch in its place and that will do the job fine
My rice krispies told me to do it

The two external right buttons are what changes the volume up and down while you hold the internal volume button next to the time button. The time button as far as I know, does nothing.

Well, strange design to put 2 external buttons absolutely useless but to change volume that need anyway to open the door.

most of the machines you see here in the states will have either 2 red or blue buttons. and if you get to the backside of them they are nothing more than caps to fill holes. the two I have, have those and they are just caps. maybe they were buttons that did something while they were in the parlors in Japan.....
