I thought it was interesting that the seller states that the machine cost $2080 new.

Well he does state that he owns a parlour in Japan so maybe that price is true.

I believe it is a cell with a little platform attached with spin and power buttons. Although, it claims to have stereo sound so I would guess that there are some speakers around somewhere.

They have shipping place in Massachusetts?

Warranty: Each machine comes with 3 month warranty. We have shipping place in MA, USA. If the machine fails to operate, It will be repaired or replaced without additional charge. (*It is very strongly‐built since it is basically a casino machine.) You are responsible for shipping to and from MA. USA, not Japan.

You may wonder how you make the center-slot spin without ball shooting, but the answer is very simple. Computer system boards we add to this machine signal to the "start hole" to get the center-slot spin continuity. Please imagine a auto-spin slot machine. Suppose you bought a slot machine from Las Vegas and play it at home, soon you will be tried to put coins into it and pull the handle every time. Don’t you think auto-spin is better? This compact type Pachinko machine is the one !

That is most definitely a "table-top" machine as it's called in Japan. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've seen that seller's auctions on Yahoo Japan auctions as well.

As for the $2080 price for the machine, that's correct, it costs that much for everything brand new when the machines are first released but they can make that back in a few days.

A regular Pachinko machine has a full frame and a shooter. The shooter launches Pachinko balls up the side of the machine and the ball than drops down through nails on the playfield. When you get the ball to fall into certain pockets, the LCD "spins" and various things happen from there which may result in the payout of balls.

The tabletop machine has no frame, no shooter and, most importantly, no balls. It is just the center part of the machine. Buttons are than attached to simulate balls passing through the little gates.

Arby. If you were able to get just a cell cheap can you get a case later to go with it? And would it just go in like you change other cells?

Usually the spins are controlled via remote control.

Laz, they strip a lot more off it than just the case, it would need a lot of other parts.

I think You would need an already working machine and swap the cell.

Pretty much, there is a picture of it sitting in the little wooden base. If you scroll to the right in his auction. He almost always has one of those on ebay. He usually gets between $160 and $200 for them. Plus shipping from Japan.

Well, one would argue that the ball play is minor compared to the ROM action.

From the same seller you could get a full machine, delivered, for about £285. That's not a terrible deal.
