Default Net - 600 type Cross (Dracula 600)

I have this machine and I'm looking for information. It's a 2004 Net machine. They call it a 600 type of Cross, but the vendor I bought it from called it a Dracula 600. I can't find any info on the Net web site. I found the machine, but no further details.

Does anyone here have this one? I have the odds set to level 6, but it seems to not pay out much. I also have a Rodeo machine, and it pays out very frequently on level 6. So I guess I'm wondering if anyone knows what the odds are on this one and if you know the correct procedure to change the odds. I think I did it right, but would like to confirm.

Well, I guess I don;t know how to post a picture, but this link will take you to the Net web site where the machine is top left on the page.

The name of the machine is just "The Cross" (Juujika in Japanese), not sure where the 600 comes from. You found the official page so here are some more:

Ah, I see the 600 meant 600-type. *DOH*

Well, the gameplay is the same anyway...

    Actually, this is the machine:

    P-World Page

I could not find it on the Pachinko Museum site, but is seems to be very similar to the other Cross machine you pointed out, and the bonus plays the same. I'm not sure what the 600 tyoe designation means.

Do you like it as much as your Rodeo machine? We've been thinking about trying to grab one of those on ebay, but hadn't talked to anyone who played one yet. We love NET's Super Blackjack. Deka Dan is kinda cool; not really my fav. Dracula Rx is interesting in its own way. And this "Dracula 600" looked pretty cool but we didn't have much to go on. How are the graphics? The music? Anything special about it that you've discovered so far? Post more please.

Overall, I think I like the Rodeo machine better, just because it seems to pay out better, but I've only had the machines for a week, so that may just be a streak. As for the Net machine. It's newer than the Rodeo, so it's in better condition. It has no volume control (no switch or anything) but the level seems OK as is. The graphics are very good and the bonuses are fun. My net machine came with an token overflow tray, and the rodeo didn't. The rodeo has a transformer installed in the back corner of the machine, and I think they remove the overflow tray to make room. One thing I also like about the Net machine is that it's really quiet when not being used, and the reel lights will dim. The rodeo has kind of a low squeek to it when it idles. Might be just worn out speakers, but its a little anoying, and the light stay on. Anyway, Hope this help. If you want more details, let me know and I'll do me best.

Thanks for your response, Pfiesm. (Just as a note, I believe that the two buttons near the coin slot interact with two a button on the top inside of the door, and that is how those types of NET machines control the volume.) I think we just won one so I'll get to see first hand what it's like. Sounds pretty cool, though.

I will. That's what makes this forum so much fun; sharing what we can. And likewise, if you figure out more stuff, please let me know.

To change the volume on those NET machines you hold the volume button(at the top of the door on the inside) and you hit the red button on the outside f the door until you get to the volume you want. The lights along the top will change with volume.)

Just to build a little on what Dalto said, you push the left button on the outside of the door to lower the volume, or the right button to raise the volume, while pushing the little button on the inside/top of the door. You'll hear the volume go up and down as you do this. (When you press the little button on the top/inside, it makes a sould like a buzzer.) Kind of a strange arrangement but it works, and that's what counts.

Is "The Cross" as good or better than Super Blackjack? I would like its theme way more than reading "BURST" when you bust in a SBJ game.

(Ask Mark if you don't believe me.)

Don't know; it hasn't arrived yet.

There are two buttons on the inside top. One is labled volume (which I assume is the one you are referring to) and one is labled time. Do you know what the time one is for?

No, I have no idea. I checked on Big Bear's site for the Super Blackjack machine (which uses the same volume arrangement) and he doesn't really say what that's for.) The "volume" button is what triggers the buzzer. The "time" button doesn't seem to do anything that I can figure out.

Doesn't pay out much? DOESN'T PAY OUT MUCH?!!! Compared to this machine, my ex-husband - the DEAD BEAT - paid out more! It just arrived today. Set it on 6. B/F played it; I played it; B/F played it for over 2 hours and the freakin thing didn't pay out SQUAT!! Man oh man oh....compared to this, Giga Fever is a 10! And it's not just that it doesn't pay out much, which it doesn't. It's just no fun at all. How many times can you watch the panning of the graveyard? There's just nothing to this machine. Including...IT DOESN'T PAY OUT MUCH!!!!

Good news: We didn't pay out very much for it. It's not loud. It's made by NET (the same folks who make that fantastic 10+++ machine - Super Blackjack!!) The sounds are nice. The video is clear (what there is to see as it pans the graveyard over and over and over and over and over and...) We didn't pay out very much for it. It's in like new condition.

Bad news: Doesn't pay out much? Doesn't PAY OUT MUCH? DOESN'T PAY OUT MUCH?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you try changing the skill level at all? I noticed one of my machines did almost nothing on 6 but was great fun on 3.
