Default Harley Davidson vs Spin Luck

Since receiving my Harley Davidson (thanks Milt) and I've had a bit of a chance to play it and see it's wonders it's time for this thread.

The Harley is a beautiful machine with a lot of bells and whistles for someone in the English speaking market. The flexible disc like the Spin Luck, all those great motorcycle and traffic sounds and vibrating buttons and music, it's a pure joy to play.

Looks - it's even between the two as there is basically no difference.

Music - Harley wins hands down. Spin Luck has some great music but it's not "Born to be Wild, China Grove or Take it Easy".

Sound Effects - Harley wins here too. Again Spin Luck is close but not quite there. The revving engine, the traffic horns all add to the allure that is a Harley Davidson.

Playability - Here I'm going to give the edge to Spin Luck. With it's stock feature and the announcer for the future game, it's just a bit better.

Construction - Even - every thing's the same.

Eye-Shooting - Even, both feature reel speeds where the eye can easily pick out what you're shooting for.

Overall, both are fantastic machines and I'm very glad I have them both and will part with neither one of them. Easily the two best in the collection. Is there a preference of one over the other? A slight edge to Harley, possibly but that may also be due to new machine syndrome. So I'll call it even, for now.

    Nice writeup, Tulsa! Thanks!

You realize that I'm going to want, nay, need a Harley one of these days. Especially after getting to play Arby's when we were there!

Well with this writeup of the Harley and all those great videos we have of it in action + other comments, I would have to say it must be the top Pachislo there is. Of course the price it get's is warranted. I have enjoyed Spin Luck a lot but the Harley does look to be the ultimate!

I guess the music sounds different in person. I've listened to it on Milt's video and it definitely doesn't sound like the original soundtracks. To me it sounded kind of like a high school band playing "Born To Be Wild" and "China Grove". I actually giggled at first when my b/f played Milt's video and asked me what I thought. I'm obviously missing something real major on this one.

I see Pachislo.com has lowered their "new" Harley down to $1699.

Yep I am sure that it is worth every single medal it took in.

It kinda makes Spin Luck look like a distant poor man's version of the Harley with a touch of Wheel of Fortune thrown in.

Didn't TULSA snipe a HARLEY Pachislo for approx 500+ ?

I think it was the upper $600's, but yep, cheaper than any other has ever gone for.

As I have not played the Harley, I can't say anything about it (yet). But if it is as Tulsa says, well, I guess I'll have another machine I WANT that I will only be able to dream about.

If I still lived in the cities, I wouldn't be riding. Just too many crazy cagers running around. At least out here in the country with very little traffic one of the main dangers becomes deer. We don't ride at night or at dawn or dusk because of that.

I did have a Harley once. Not that it counts as a Harley. When I was teen I bought a 75cc Harley Davidson . Sort of a cross of a dirt bike and a road bike. I did not get to ride it for more than a mile or so. It would keep shearing a pin on the drive shaft. Every time I put in a new shire pin I would get a little ways down the road and it would shire off again. No one I knew could give me a reason it did this. I finally sold it. Then the only other bike I had was a Yamaha 650.
