Unless there is something I don't know about, Why is it under the pachinko search? I know their name contains Pachinko but a pachi has never showed up under pachinko before?

This one is often listed under pachinko because of a small feature on this machine that involves a pachinko ball. I'm sure someone with this one can explain it better.

As for the 1600 thing, I have no idea.

That seller tends to... ummm.... stretch the truth.

I'm sure others here have this model.

This type of machine falls under the category known as "Areppachi" which expanded is "Arranged Pachinko" ("Arranged" in this case means remixed or redone) and basically is meant to be just a different sort of pachinko/pachislo machine from the norm. Areppachi usually not only have different rules than normal machines but usually also higher odds but lower payouts. The most famous examples of this sort of machine is Taiyo (the pachinko maker) who produces a few Areppachi a year: Apollo 13, Heaven Kibun, and Penguin.

As far as that machine being so limited, well there are two points that I can bring up:

    1) The producer Fuji (better known for pachinko) averages less than one pachislo machine a year but
    2) Based on the number of times I have seen Arraking, I'm pretty sure they made more than that vendor says they did.

    ...I could be wrong though...

Does it really matter? I'd rather find out from other members if it's a playable machine and does anyone like it, than if there are only 1600 made. If memory serves me right this vendor likes to strech the truth. Like only 5 Austin Power machines where sold on ebay last year. How do you check on that anyway?
    Just wondering?

    Cheers,

I almost bought a sinbad adventure on E-bay from them, They said "only one ever sold on E-bay". I was willing to pay $400.00( at the time I never heard of pachislo before and thought something like this was well worth it) but got snipped at last second. It sold for $460.00. Then I found Stealth Home Amusement and purchased the game for $250.00 the next day. Thanks Milt.

They probably have the word Pachinko in the description text somewhere, and voila, they come up when you search on "Pachinko"

I have 2 of these machines (actually one left, the other one is sold).

There is a little pachinko ball on the camel on the top of the machine. I don't know what it's there for, eventhough I hit the jackpot I have never seen it move more then a few inches up.

It is not a very good looking machine (because of the neon green color) but it's in fact a very beatiful machine to play with.

It also has those little strobe lights on top that fire when you hit jackpots and also when no one plays with it (like a screen saver).

Too bad it's green otherwise it would probably have a lot of success.

I don't even bother to look at their listings any more, since my boots got holes in them.
Wearing barn boots is the only way to walk through their ads.

Cool Re: 1600 made. Truth or Cr@p??????????

I have had my Arra King for almost three years and I have never seen the Pachinko ball. The green is kind of nice since it stands out in the line of 14 machines which are mostly red and blue. I put one of the real slot arms on it and with the auto stop it plays great. My serial number is 004274. My final cost with freight was $ 235.00... back then that was a fair price. I love my ArraKing ! At first I didnt like the Green and even made a Black one in photo shop that I posted in an earlier thread. Now I think the Green is great and goes with the machine just fine.
In the small pachinko section a ball just pops out of the hole in the center above the camel. When it does the camels head and tail both go down ,then the ball goes back in which the head and tail back up.
I have had it happen 3x since I have owned the machine.
When I get the time I will try to get it to happen and take a vid of it. I think the music is great on the machine as well!

Well, if serial numbers actually mean anything, here is the one on my ArraKing, 004082

C'on, Eddie, get a video of it. I'm having trouble with my cheap video capture card right now.
Check my member page here or...

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

The BS on ebay is amazing. There are 2 regular dealers on there that claim every machine they have is the most fun, most spectacular LCD and most wanted. They copy/paste the same baloney on every sale!

Talking Re: 1600 made. Truth or Cr@p??????????

I took my Arra King apart to see the " ball " in the upper camel area. It is not a ball but a silver bullet shaped " ball " that does nothing. It is permenently attached to the camels head and tail solenoid and moves up or down as the solenoid is activated. The " ball " is actually part of the solenoids cap or top. To call this a Pachinko/Pachislo combo or some form of hybrid is a true misnomer. The camel head and tail are very similar to the wing openings on a Pachinko game. That is the only similarity to be found. This is just an FYI if anyone is interested. Frank A, Jackson, NJ
