Rent Balls/Medals VIDEOS!!

Well Pachiguide.com has come out with two very interesting videos :
The first one shows us the different various ways one gets those balls rented in the parlor. 1000 yen notes,coins,cards and even some kind of a stick? :

I've never seen that stick one before but I can imagine that it's somewhat similar to the "data coin" method I've referred to in previous posts.

We actually saw that stick in another video I posted before. I think it was the introduction of PALOT that I posted a long time ago. In any case it looks like they make it easy to pay for those balls

I wonder, though, what the benefits of that stick are though . It must have a payback function but beyond that, I can't imagine what other benefits it may have.

One of our local cherrymaster slot places uses the sticks, it keeps track of your cash and winning, like a debit card.
you can move your credits, so you can switch machines.

Like vegas slots ticket in, ticket out.

That would make sense that it's like the "data coin" I've referred to before. I wonder who makes those because I'd like to see more specific details. Maybe Arby or compirate know...?

That appears to be an IC Card-compatible unit so I'm afraid that's not one. IC makes pre-paid cards like Jackie and PAQY.

I've got this one. Only cash/card. The stick is too new, I assume a system to prevent fraud (harder to fake).

The system of punching little holes in the cards is used on older machines. The CR unit I have has a little cup inside that catches these 'chads' (let's not get started people!).

That other one looks interesting! They have 300 and they're only $530 each!

Compirate that site pachiguide.com has a lot of other stuff on it that might be of interest here. My cr*p translator (systran) and googles etc can't translate much of it at all. Hmmm maybe someone could browse thru it sometime and se what really is there:questionm
