I am sure there will be someone out there who will give money for it..

possibly even a museum collection etc..

for everything someone has to sell there is someone who is willing to buy.
i am sure some person with an interest for memorabilia will pick it up.

here in greece we have a very active market in military antiques. you can go down to the wekkly fleamarket down in athens city center and pickup all sorts of WWII memorabilia, helmets, medals pins , bayonets etc etc..

lots of fun stuff..
