Shipping Pachislos to Oregon -- is it legal?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I keep reading different information regarding the inability to ship pachislo machines to Oregon.
I really want to buy a machine or two before Christmas, and i've emailed this question to some vendors whose websites have been a little ambiguous about it. Is there a really a law in Oregon against pachislos, or is it a grey area that some vendors are comfortable crossing more than others?
All I want to do is put some cool games in my party room.

I don't know what might happen if you drove tto the nearest dealer, bought 1 or 2, and brought them back.
As long as you don't have a rat-fink to tell on you...
But then, I hear some prisons are nice.
