I finally got my thunderbirds machine today & Its the first one I have owned, can any body tell me why it will only let me play after I load 3 tokens up, I have never played one of these "toys" before It looks like you can have the option of playing one token only for the centre line two tokens for horizontal lines & three for diagonals but it only wants to play the three token option, is there a skill level option on this machine & if so how do I set it

OK found the thread about skill levels I will give it a try, just the tokens query now

just got to find the skill button now

I believe you shut the machine off, turn the key(the one on the inside), turn the machine on, press the little black button below the key until you get to the skill level you want, hold the joystick down for a few seconds and then turn the key back to it's original position.

sorted the skill level out chaps, now I have to learn how to play the thing now!! can't see where the "skill" comes in, just seems like a regular slot machine but with buttons stopping the reels (wait for the bararge of insults)

Ah, first impressions are always the least informed... Just kidding.

You may play it for a long time and still not understand how the "skill" is used. If you have a play guide, check it out, set skill to "1" and play away. You might be good enough to take your "skill" to Japan.

You can pratice eyeshooting, try stopping the reels on 7's or bars.

Some people are very good at that.

as a newbie myself.... i find the best thing to do is play and play and play..
you can try focusing on stopping a reel at different times to see what that will do. and pretty soon you have a very good idea of when you should press the button.

oh and before i forget

level 6 makes it easier to hit the big bonuses
level 1 the big bonus's are less frequent

the lower the level the higher the frequency of smaller wins.
