I'll stick with beef. T-Bone, Ribeye, Strip even simple sirloin. A mess of potatoes fixed just about anyway you can imagine and some rye bread. Or burritos.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

Dont like the rye bread but sour dough or Kentucky corn bread will work ,not the city kind they make in Minnesota ,its more like cake and dont hold up fer crap to put butter on it

    Bravo Tulsa!

I was getting seriously ill reading all this, but the thought of a juicy piece of steak got me over it quickly.

Me neither. Every time I go to Japan, I have to go to my favorite steak house in Ginza. They make hamburger steaks made from 100% Kobe beef for US$10 at lunchtime. Great deal.

I missed my chance to try Kobe beef at a casino in Tunica. Didn't know they had it until we left!

Is Kobe beef as good in the U.S.A. as it is in Japan? I've heard it isn't.

IMO, the US stuff is not as good but they're both delicious. If you ever get the chance, try Matsuzaka beef from Japan. Very cholesterol-increasing but out-of-this-world.

You MUST have good fat on any steak for it to be even half-way decent!

    Japanese Kobe Beef

    Japanese Matsuzaka Beef

I'd say there's a sufficient amount of fat on them.
