Default Lord of the rings Q

On lord of the rings, to the left of the ashtray, there is a button that I know will light up red on some other models when their is an action required by the player. Is this button implemented in LOTR, or is it not used?

I may be mistaken but I don't think the button is used in LoTR but it is a sort of pachinker's security blanket. The Japanese players love to hit the machines and press buttons to feel as if it will help them win.

    My Fever King has this

On some machines the flashing red button changes the way the lights flash when you press or it may be a chance button.

Mine is supposed to change light patterns.

I have the same button on fever magic party (same case as LOTR) it lights up red for 60 seconds when you first power up the machine. If you push it while it's lit it cycles through the case lighting a few times then stops. Any other time the button does nothing.

Yeah, it has different features. On Fever Queen, it changes between the game's two modes: Classic and New, so it's kind of like two games in one. I know that it's also used as an interactive gimmick during reach events in other machines but I can't remember it serving any purpose in LoTR. Again, I may be wrong though.

The location of that button is such a pain when you're playing, especially if you're a smoker. That's the reason why Sankyo wised up and moved it to the middle of the machine in front of the ball well where other manufacturers have theirs.

On the LOTR's it does cycle the attract mode lights if you get to it in that small window before the light goes out. DrDark says 60 seconds, that works for me.

Does any one know what this button does on Aqua Nine?

It lights up after a reset for a few seconds and if you push it
the lights chase around the case. I was just wondering if it had any other use.

No, like the LoTR machine, that's the only function it has.
