    Default 1950s collectible ?

Is this really a 1950's collectable?

Being an afficianado of old pachis I have learned that the first machines that we would consider a pachislo was built in 1964 or 1965. And it didn't bear too much resemblance to the ones we all have now.

The one in that auction is obviouslya semi-current style. It was actually discussed here a few weeks back when a local store of mine had one for sale.

I haven't played it, but it's kinda cute with little Godzillas that mechanically pop up in front of the reels.

I'd say the 50's comment is just due to the timeframe of the popularity of the various movies.

I figured as much.... I just always find it odd what some people title an auction to make a sale.

It looks like a nice machine, I would love to have one. The mechanical Godzillas popping up sounds cool!

They're tiny little things. Maybe 1cm tall. But they look cute from what I could see of them down in there. Unfortunately the guy who runs that store is a dickhead and wouldn't let me play it.

(note that I learned quickly from another thread that we can use dickhead and it doesn't get caught by the naughty word filter hehehe)
