Default Product Review - Ultimate Scrubber

Was picking up some shelving units at Bed Bath and Beyond yesterday and I saw one of these ultimate scrubbers. Looked like Arby's cell cleaner but smaller and battery powered so I figured I would give it a try. Comes with three brushes, Hard, Soft and 3 tier medium, the hard and soft bruses are a little on the short side to reach the playfield surface, the three tied one does reach the surface but only does a so-so job, I ended up cutting it down to make a two tiered brush and it did a better job. Dry it moves the dust around but did not really get it off the playfield, wet it cleaned better but you need to follow it up with a cloth to dry and move away the dirt.It did a much better job of cleaning the tops of the nails than anything else.Priced at $14.95 price wasn't too expensive but it's not really suited for pachinko cleaning, the brushes need to have about another 1/4 of nap.Replacement brushes are avaialble on the website but the shipping will kill you. If you can pick one up for $5.00 or less when they go on clearance it might be worth it.Rating 2 out of 5JimBelow is the website so you can see what it looks like.www.ultimatescrubber.com

There is one up on yahoo now at 15000 yen, plus agent fees and shipping (go boat) but you have the brush designed for cleaning and Kiaigumi can get more very larger cans (around $10, you use very little) of cleaner to send with the shippment.

    Through an agent in Japan.
most agents charge 10% of auction cost or a minium fee.
They get it sent to them and than they package better and send it here.

I would think this would sell at open bid, because I have seen them usally sell at around $100-125. fees 10% shipping there around $10-15, SAL Here around $80ish. I would buy at the same time extra cans of the cleaner/waxer.
They are large cans and last a long time.

I have yet to find the cleaner here that works like what they sell for it.

you can go thru my friend Kiaigumi <interla@ctb.ne.jp>

He would want a amount down and than the rest after auction.
He would refund the overage back in the end.

He is a man I have trusted with $10,000 plus dollars at a time and trust him as I trust myself.

Remember that SAL by boat is slow and can take 30 day plus

That cell cleaner saves HOURS of work!
Forget the Q-tips! (Stick 'em in your ear)

It doesn't spin, it vibrates the bristles very fast, and does a FANTASTIC job of cleaning.

I've used mine on both modern and vintage machines, and you just can't get the same effect with anything else. The cleaner smells good too, not a heavy perfume or anything, just a fresh scent... kind of like shaving cream. It takes ball marks, smoke film AND odor away very quickly!!!

Once again, I can thank Arby for hooking me up with one of those.

Anyone looking to prep or refurb machines really should have one.

Thumbs up Re: Product Review - Ultimate Scrubber

    Friends:
I took Arby's advice and contacted his friend (Kiaigumi) in Japan. He purchased a CELL-PICA for me on Yahoo Japan and sent to me here in NJ.
I tried it out and it was AMAZED.
The machine works incredibly well. Just spray a small amount of cleaner on the play board (it foams), pull the trigger on the gun and move the brush around the pins. The dirt and ball trails just disappear.
I was able to clean 8 machines in under an hour to LIKE NEW condition. Using the old method, Q-tips, would have taken as long to do just one machine.
Any serious pachinko collector/player MUST have one of these!
    THANKS ARBY!

    WOW they look amazing.........

Arby do you think it would be OK for me to approach Kiaigumi ? I don't want to annoy him or you buy just picking up the mail from here....and thought I'd show a bit of forum etiquette by asking first.....

( wish I'd read this before I went to Tokyo in december..... )
