Default Videos - Las Vegas - Olympia 2001 -Review

I hope I don't get into trouble by reposting my review of the Las Vegas by Olympia 2001, but I have added 15 videos to it. Time for each video is on each link.

Las Vegas by Olympia - 2001

This machine features a revolving Roulette wheel at the top, with a three window symbol wheel just below it. Normally, these windows show replay symbols in them. Hovever, should you get into a "winning sign" mode, the Roulette wheel spins, flashes different colors, red, blue, green and yellow, and depending upon your luck, the reel will stop on "00" and three 7's will be displayed in the windows. The bunny girl announces "Winner," and at this point the player has a Big Bonus, or at least a Regular Bonus coming up. Good jazz music starts and you enter into a typical Type "A" - 3 round Big Bonus round, with the jazz changing with Jac in.

Instead of three 7's the player may hit "Chance" in the center window, "18 Red," and enter into better chance of hitting a Big Bonus or Regular Bonus though not assured, much like the "Magical X10 Zone" on the Neo Magic
Pulsar, or the "Win" on Neo PlanetT Pulsar.

The player may hit "Fruits Game" in the center window, "4 Black," and go into six to thirty winning payoffs, depending on your luck. As in a Big or Regular Bonus the sexy voice announces "winner," or "here we go," jazz music starts, and the lights flash different colors. Only during a "Fruits Game" will Las Vegas give you directions on which reel to stop when. The three windows correspond to reels 1, 2, 3, and flash accordingly. Also, the backlit reels show which reel to stop and in which order.

Often the wheel flashes blue, a replay will be hit. If the lights flash and yellow stays on, three bells will hit which pays eight. Green and three apples pays five. Cherry pays two.

The Bunny Girl has a number of phrases including, "Try the next game," at the end of a Big Bonus, and many others phrases that I'm sure I've yet to hear.
To quote Azlew in my first brief impression of the Las Vegas, "I feel it is the most under rated Pachislo on Pachitalk. I continue to have new surprises everyday from it."

I have to agree, this is a very fun machine!

    I rate this machine:

I know there are a lot of videos to look at there, 15 at roughly 2 minutes each. I hope that doesn't keep y'all from looking at some of them.

If the total of those is too much, please let me know. I try to name the clips as to basically what happens in each.

Good vids, but I never got into my LV machine. I think I had it about a month and resold it. I just didnt ever like playing it. People who came over loved it, but not me. I think built it up too much before I got it and thought it would be somewhat different than most machines, in turn it was alot like the others. I woudl take a Race Queen over it in a minute. Best Olympia machine made!!!

I'm very pleased with mine. In fact, all of the naysay about it kept me from buying one a lot sooner. Bought it for resale, but it just might end up being one of the keepers, now. Way under-rated, IMHO.

I agree. That Playboy Bunny just draws my visitors male or female in. I can't see parting with her but I guess if the price was right I could maybe get another pachinko from ARBYCOFFEE hmmmm

Thanks for the VIDEO! Keep them coming. I love actually seeing how the machines play, rather than just seeing them in bonus mode.

Thanks, JVC! I'm the same way. BBs and RBs are great to see, but I always wanted to know how it plays in regular play too since we see more of that.

This is not to say I don't like Milt or Eric's videos, far from it! Those videos have sold me on severaln machines and I thank them for them!

By the same token (no pun intended) I do like to see and hear any machine in just regular play.

If by chance I hit a bonus round while I'm videoing it, good. If not, good!

Tony I agree and agree to disagree with you. You have shown what a video for a Pachislo should be like. Anyone can set up a camera on a tripod and film a bonus round.

Nothing touches what you have done and I applaud you for your efforts

I really appreciate that coming from you, Lew! Especially since you have encouraged me from the start.

Plus the fact that others seem to appreciate it too really gives me a boost to do more.

In fact, today I taped the Baseball Pachislo (Kyojin no Hoshi), have captured it, and tonight have run out of time to finish editing it. It may be as late as this weekend before I get it posted though.
