Default Pic of STAR WARS in Osaka Parlor!

Here is a pic of the Star Wars Pachinko Osaka Japan Parlor. The person that took the pic emailed me and said the pic was taken :

@ Some random Parlor we wandered into while exploring Den Den Town
    in Osaka.

Here is the headline to that picture :

<H4>Phil enjoys a rousing game of pachinko

The Star Wars theme sucked him in. The fool.

I just uploaded an extremely detailed large version of this picture(he made this available in different sizes) to rapidshare.com . It is about 2 megs large and in the 1536X2048 Size! The sharpness and clarity is fantastic and allows closer view of the other pachinko also. Grab it quick(rapidshare seems to delete fast) if you want to see a lot better view of these pachinkos. Here is the url for the free download :

I emailed him back to ask him a couple of questions. First of all I really wondered if that was a parlor setup or not + the name of the parlor. Here is his response back to me :

    :: Re: Star Wars Pachinko

Sorry, I really can't recall. It was just an arcade we
wandered into on the main drag to kill some time while we
waited for a friend of ours. I don't think I even looked at
the sign out front. It wasn't a full blown pachinko parlor,
just an video arcade that happened to have some pachinko
    machines on the first floor.

Glad you liked the picture. Hope you enjoy your machine
    .
So it was in a regular multi-story arcade. I thought for a second no ball operation but looking at the high detail picture you can see a least one ball.

I wonder if this one is cyclic with a counter?

There are six chrome screws holding a different front on the shooters tray.
Different from the released fron Sankyo, They look to be changed for just play.

If it be in a arcade, It is just a play machine, So I think, it would be cyclic, but I won't bet on it.
It is different tho, why I am not sure.

It looks like with that mod to the front that there isn't any ball handling at all, which would make sense for an arcade.

MrGneiss you make a good point. After looking at the higher rez pic : I do not see any balls in the front tray. Plus the counters look different than what they would be in a full blown Parlor.

You probably insert money and are given a time limit on it and then depending upon how many balls you get into pay pockets it pays you in tickets or somethin relative to that.

it's definitely in arcade and can play 100 balls per 100 yen (in this pic).

Yeah, that's a typical arcade type cabinet; win counter but no spin counter and the machines are all separated as opposed to lined up in one large island like the parlors do. I would guess it remits prize tokens or tickets when you win.
