Token Collections

Anyone ever thought about collecting tokens like you would state quarters or other coins? Most of my tokens are DAIOH or DAIOH-N but I come across other ones and I set them aside. I know there are lots of different tokens and some have interesting logos or designs on them. I just thought it would be another aspect to this hobby. I have about 15 different ones now with a few one of a kinds for me. If there's interest maybe set up trades and gather info about them like what parlour they are from etc.

yes i do. thanks to Arby he helped me get a big jump on it i think i have like 600 different ones.

I have at least 200 different. but haven't really done much with them.

Maybe one day I'll get coin holders and put them in an album.

Would watch a thread to swap tokens to see what came up. Got a load of different ones with my JSR. It would be like pokemon cards gotta get them all

Good luck getting them all theres overe 20,000 parlors in japan. i posted a few pics of a bunch of them if i get time ill post some moree.

I set aside one of each different one that I get. Eventually I hope to get a pachi that I can put all the different ones in. 750 to 1000 tokens in one machine with no two alike. Thats the goal. May be years before I accomplish it tho. I also set aside one of each different pachinko ball that I see.

I collect tokens also. American & Japanese Arcade Tokens. I found 2 real cool ones recently. One says Pak Mann Arcade and another Fish Head Arcade. Mike : )

Thanks guys, you've all been helpful. I haven't gone through all my tokens yet but I think I have found all the different ones that I have. I need to buy more machines to get more tokens. Now to talk the better half into it..........

Well I just came upon 1lb lots of "Adult sexy tokens" Should have them soon I hope.

Recently got a container of machines from Japan and with these come boxes and boxes of tokens and one of which contained almost all unique coins probably around 1000 or so out of 5000 .... Have i hit the Jackpot ?

If there are particular coins you are looking for let me know and i will ship them out - I have Statue of Liberty, new york, vegas etc etc too many to list but my 9 year old nephew loves going through them and would love a challenge to find a particular coin ....
