That is one thing that has always confused me. They don't research the market they are selling in. That title is hot in Japan, but not in the "Western" cultures, so why offer it for $3000. I bet if he lowered it to $300 if might not even sell due to shipping fees alone.

I remember one time I had a damaged machine from Pachislo.com. They were very polite about it and were very willing to take it back. I suggested just discounting it and letting me keep it (2 damages reels and and crushed ash tray). I mean shipping back alone would have paid for the parts. They came back with something crazy like $10 or $20 off to keep it. I fully expected at least the cost of shipping, but nope.

Needless to say I sent it back at their expense. But the communication barrier does cause problems some times in my opinon.

And this is a good example of it. But who knows as Arbycoffee stated, they could be fishing. Heck if they did a BIN for $1000 next week maybe it would seem like a bargain to someone now!
