    Arby,

One would think that when a new case design comes out, all of the games that are released using that case should be interchangable.

Looking back at some of the older Sankyo cases which had different games for them, I noticed that the play field cells were not necessarily interchangable because several different companies were making the games under the Sankyo name. The wiring schemes from front door to playfield varied with the game.

Have you noticed this or is it just my imagination?

In the older models, truely said. But it is a way for them now to cut their overhead cost I think, just selling and changing cells.

The cost to parlor would also be down, this can all be done after hours, no tear out of frames that are wired in. Just pull and un plug, put and plug.

A lot less to recycle too!

Now with Sankyo being one off the bigges I wonder if the smaller makers will do the same ?

Well, several possibilites present themselves to US pachinko buyers.

    1. Buy a complete game and add additional play field cells to keep costs and space requirements to a minimum.

    2. Buy, sell, RENT and trade game cells like game cartridges. Make money on each transaction.

    3. Contact Arby's Game Exchange for more details. Free temporary pachinko tattoo with every 10th rental! :burnout:

Is that in addition to the "W" on each cheek? :lmao:

It really does make sense for manufacturers to do this. A win/win for the parlor and the manufacturer. AND the landfills and recycling concerns.
But, could this be a loss for us here??? Lack of cases??

Sounds like all the more reason to grab one from somebody that knows which is which, and actually TRIES them out ahead of time!
    THAT'S the Arby edge, IMHO!!!

NEXT WEEK, Arby... NEXT WEEK my friend!!!
Get them puppies wrapped and ready to go.

I imagine that casino machine will sell for quite a bit due to the theme when it gets here.

That's the English translation of a Japanese AAA tow truck driver.
