I am going to get 2 more machines and want those familiar with any or all of these machines to put them in highest to lowest rank. They are

    Beast Sapp
    Fire Drift
    Hound Dog
    King Camel
    Super Black Jack
    Speed Racer

I am having trouble deciding and any input would be gratful. I have looked at the museum already, but nor too many write ups yet. Thanks much.

    Super Blackjack
    King Camel

Those are the two of these I own.

I would put the entire group from what I know of them this way...

    Super Blackjack
    Beast Sapp
    King Camel
Speed Racer (flip flop these two of you like the theme)
    Hound Dog
    Fire Drift
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

Yep, Tulsa seems right on. I haven't played the Hound Dog so that might make the bottom for me. All the other above Machines are Great IMHO However. Mike : )

I seem to like the videos I have seen on the Fire Drift. Very American theme it seems and videos that play on LCD seem pretty cool.

Of that list, I have the SBJ, BS, and HD.
Don't know about the other ones, as I haven't played them yet.
Of those, I'd rank them in exactly that order.

Super Blackjack is simply way cool... easily at the top of that list, IMO.
Some "bouncy" things happenin' on that machine, and the variation in gameplay will keep you entertained.

Also IMO, Beast would beat the Hound Dog by a decision... but not by a knockout. Those two would have to go by your preferences for the themes. I like 50's rock and guitar, so HD might be higher for me than someone that was younger.

Of the machines you listed I only have Fire Drift and King Camel.

King Camel is my number one favorite, although several others run a close second.

Fire Drift is a fun but fusterating machine. Fusterating only in the sense I have yet to hit a BB on it!
Check my member page here or...

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

Well Brad, I'm afraid it comes down to this. Its apparent that we are a bunch of " Eberts & Roepers " here. We all seem to have our own " Thumps up/Thumbs down " as where to place these machines on our Top Ten list. I guess a lot comes down to the theme, and the appeal that it has on you. Like you stated, the Fire Drift seemed to have nice video scenes. Its obvious that this machine has some type of appeal to you. Maybe this is the way to go.

what sold me on a lot of the machines i own
was watching videos on Demos777 and pp on ebay.

Milt also has a lot of videos on his web site.

Fire Drift does seem like a real good machine,

On King Camel the top reels are the main reels and the large reels are secondary.

That's why the large reels can slip and go backwards.

The top reels spin every turn.

Everyone that owns either one loves them.

I've played them all. Beast Sapp is the best of the group, with the others all about the same. Just depends on what you like. King Camel has the best reels, Super Blackjack has the most "in" theme. Hound Dog has the best music. Speed Racer has the Speed Racer theme and music and Fire Drift has the best LCD (not counting Beast Sapp's HUGE overlaid graphics).

I have 2 machines, SUPER BLACK JACK, and FIREDRIFT, i love superblackjack, it is a truly great machine, i bought it after i just bought my first machine firedrift. I have played SBJ far more than i have played FD.The graphics on firedrift are first class, and you would not be disappointed. the trouble with FD is the very noisy fan, it drives you insane!need to play the game alot more, but i cant leave SBJ alone! I have just bought KING CAMELS, as i was sold on the six reels!and great reviews. cant wait to get it on thursday.

I was also tempted by BEAST SAPP, it looks a great machine, but i have been put off by the problems people have had with the LED's burning out!

Beast Sapp has the better visuals (LCD and lights) and also good music that you find yourself bopping along with (That's the Way I like It). KC has the best tease with the nudging reels and the most surprises/chuckles in this regard. My first choice would be Beast since it seems to have a little more personality. KC is a close second IMO, excluding SBJ since I have no experience with it.
