Has anyone played the following machines? If so, how would you rate them?

Yep, I just got my Battle Fever.
Thats the one FedEx left on a neighbors porch a block away for 2 days.
    Anyway, dont get me started!
Ive had less than an hour to actually sit in front of it to play. I had a small problem with the payout mechanism which Master Arby help me correct. Then I put on the feet, tried to clean it up as SlotUSA sent it to me very dirty & dusty.
But, the bottom line is: IT ROCKS!!!
I didnt think I would like it quite as much due to the large LCD area taking up so much of the center of the playboard.
However, unlike my Popeye, where the balls just shoot over the center & hit a trough that just empties the balls to the bottom, you may just as likely hit the bonus or multiple ball payouts from the right too.
There are 7 payout pockets & the bonus round pocket near the bottom. The nail placements create long paths for the balls to follow if you hit it just right. That makes it feel like there are balls all over the place going in all different directions. Not just down & out.
On the right of the LCD is one of the white gloved hands that is animated. It has fingers that create multiple martial arts hand gestures at different times. From what I have read, different gestures are a sign of whats to come on the LCD.
The LCD area also allows the balls to fall into legde bellow the screen where there is a moving platform that guides the ball into the bonus pocket. Sometimes...
The LCD itself is very nice colorful. There are many characters representing the numbers. Other characters that pop up at different times also are a sign of whats to come, but as yet I havent a clue what they all mean. And there are lots of them.
There is also a button on the bottom left of the frame that turns a flashing red at different times. It seems to be a bonus button like that of the Popeye that causes different mini characters to appear & line up along the bottom of the LCD.
The playboard & the surrounding frame is very nice & colorful with lights & artwork & I personally like the dark purple colors.
So again, I think this machine rocks! There is alot going on with the balls, the LCD, the lights & the bonus button. Theres alot to watch for. I think, from the little time Ive played it, that this is a game with lots of playability!

    so the pachinko is basically

    rock-paper-scissors.

that's what the hand is doing.

So breif, so direct, so succinct, so on the mark, so descriptive, so concise, so compendious, so laconic!

Rock - Paper - Scissors! That is correct, now that I think about it!

Although, "Martial Arts Hand Gestures" does give it more of 'Battle Fever' impression.

I wish Ida thunk a that!

    Good Job Lucky!!!

I just read pachi sloter's jan ken link.

the kids in japan play the game, but if they lose they get hit in the head with a cardboard tube or piece of bamboo!!!!

I guess that's were the battle comes from

Gee Doo, I think that is what you call one of those BFO's that Tulsa mentioned on another thread! They are so much a part of my everyday life that even they aren't obvious anymore.

jan ken po = rock paper scissors in japanese

I was thinking about winning the machine that was up last night, but it went $150 ish so I decided to wait.

I have my eye on either the DRM machine or the Battle fever one.

The onlything I dont like about the battle fever is the blue/purplish case

    Bah, no edit button.

I didn't see pachi sloter had those links before I commented, oops

Yeah, I saw the machine on the sankyo site, but it doesnt show any gameplay movies or anything, so that's why I was hesitant.

The high amount of japanese on the machine/lcd games doesn't bother me too much as I can read/understand quite a bit, in fact I actually think it adds to the coolness of the machine.

Maybe next time slotusa puts one up (since they didn't put another up this week) I will try and win it and have my first pachinko!

Hmm, I just see another DRM up now, debating on trying to win it, or to wait it out for a battle fever beeing listed again by slotusa.
