Default New to this site from SoCal

    Greetings all...

I am new to this site and have a couple of very specific questions on a Nishijin Y&O 15&5 that I have completed disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled. Everything works fine with exception of the top trouble lights on the front panel. These are the 4 lights at the very top of the machine. There is also a front horizontal door panel microswitch and the rear main hopper microswitches in the back. The front top play hopper has a digital counter and 2 push button switches for the card reader and loan.

Everything traces out fine so the issue is not the wires, lamps, or the switches. From what I can determine all these components all tie into the card reader emulator which of course is not part of the machine. There is a 12 pin White connector that is missing from the machine. There is also 3 smaller connectors, a White 4 pin, White 2 pin, and a Yellow 2-pin connector (missing), as well as the date cable port at the very bottom.

To me these are part of the parlor during normal operations and were removed from service when the machine was sold. Not having the emulator or the trouble lights working isn't a big deal, I am more curious if I have missed something or if there is an easy solution that someone has already solved, that is still available.

Please while I am new to the site, I am very experienced in working on these machines and understand how they operate, so I would appreciate if only members on here are familiar with what I have described as I am not looking for opinions or obvious remarks, such as "did you try replacing the lamps" or "resetting the machine."

I will say Kudo's to the developers of the machine as they were smart enough to make everything color coded and error free, more than expected, however, I will say the wiring is not standard to USA and is quite crazy when trying to trace components out.

Yes, I can make the lights and switches work, but I don't want to start re-wiring these items if there is correct way to do it, and yes I will upload a few photos.

    Thanks in advance.

    Dave.

The socket by the power switch does look like a data counter output. Can't be sure as can't read the kanji.

As for other lights. maybe an online video may indicate when they come on.

Thanks. The switches and trouble lights are part of that connector by the master switch. Didn't find any videos online that specifically address this issue. Was hoping someone here had info.

I meant sort of a play video so you can see at what point things normally light up. Some things only illuminate under certain situations. Unless I have miss understood what your problem might be.
What you might be calling trouble lights. Might be bonus or ootari lights.

The 2 microswitches in the top rear hopper are tied directly to the top front lights. The microswitch at the front doors are tied to these lights. The only reason the lights would come on is when the window is open, and when the hopper is low or empty.
