Default Who's Better SlotUSA or Texas Auction

    Hey everyone,
I'm buying my first machine & was wondering who is better to buy from SlotUSA or Texas Auction in regards to price, shipping(price/speed/safety) & warranty.

These seem to be the two major sellers on ebay.

I bought a DDK from SlotUSA toward the end of May it arrived two weeks later damaged, June 7th I think. One of the reels was crushed. When they refurbushed it they replaced machine screws with wood screws that broke the reel housing after being screwed in to far and not being the right thread. I emailed them right away with digital pics to show the damage. It is now July 11th and they are still looking for the part. I have called twice and emailed four times and keep hearing we are looking for it. The tech has been very nice, and even called two weeks ago to let me know he is still looking for the part. So who knows how this will end? Dont know if it helps you or not just my experiance with them.

There are only two vendors i can swear by and the bad news is none of them carry pachinkos, stealth home amusement would be my first im like a living advertisement for the company because every transaction ive had has left me more than 100% pleased, the other is pachislousa but they are no longer in business unfortunately.

i bought pachislos and one pachinko from slotusa, shipping and email is slow,

but, they do stand behind their product, they put a call tag on a nonworking machine and sent me one much better.

I would buy from them again.

I have bought two pachinko's from TA. FedEx - the destroyer damaged one and curt sent me a new one. They have good clean machines. (At least mine were.) When I had a problem, Curt with TA took care of it. I wouldn't have a problem buying another one from them.

Well, ofield... looks like you'll have a look at SlotUSA for yourself with that Rescue Dog from eBay tonight.
You got a lifetime "limited" warranty on that one vs. 6 months with TA.
You got 500 balls vs. 400.
You got it for $40 less than the last one TA sold on eBay.
You saved $6 in shipping, as well.

Now you might need to wait a little longer for the machine to get to you... and you might have to do a little more polishing or cleaning... maybe... I've had dirty machines from both places, and quality from both places.

Considering what that model has sold for in the past, I'd say you did pretty good... and was ESPECIALLY glad to see you out-sniped that dave999999 guy!

I think you did good. Let us know how things work out!

It looks like you got a good deal on that one.

I hope Fedex handles it carefully.

    Hey Logicprobe,
What's the deal with that Dave999999 guy I watched that auction down to the last seconds? How did he slip that bid in there???

Thanks for the input everyone? I'll be sure to tell ya about my machine when I get it.

I think logic (what an apt name... ) said it all.
My 2 tokens worth is that I purchased 3 pachinkos from TA & returned 2 as they were damaged & was fully reimbursed on both. ( After a legal threat or two as they didnt want to do so at first ) But the moral of the story is that they did do the right thing & I would buy from them again. For something really special!
Ive purchased 2 machines & 2 orders of balls from SlotUSA. Delivery was a slow on the balls, not quite as slow on the 1st machine & Im waiting for the 2nd machine to arrive today or tomorrow. SlotUSA has taken care of any hiccups so far.
The biggest difference in my opinion is the Lifetime 'Limited' warranty that SlotUSA offers & the 6 month warranty that TA offers. I beleive that speaks volumes when you consider you are purchasing a used machine.
In 7 months when the doodad stops working & the confligger goes out, what cha gonna do. Fortunately, theres Pachitalk!

I bought my Apollo from SlotUSA, and I think that the limited lifetime warranty is a good thing, since the electro-mechanical pachinkos have more moving parts to fail. Shipping was about 1 week too slow, but the toll-free phone support was excellent. Time to try out TA next.

I would also add that TA seems to have the best selection of the newer machines.
Thats my perception anyway. They are reversed from other dealers who sell slots first with pachinko on the side.

i have only purchased one machine, from TA, but have watched the auctions and tried to buy from SA....

my only purchase from TA was seamless, near-perfect condition (i have since discovered a scratch along the plastic housing in back, but otherwise flawless so far.)

i'm biased toward TA because I can pick up from their site, and so can cut down on shipping charges.

Just mho, but I think a lot of issues are with handling during shipping. I witnessed machines being packed at TA, and they are pros, had them lined up to go and well packed. But, I was aghast that anyone would trust such a wonder to the whims of some delivery boy. Once it leave their site, they toss it in the truck and away they go.

Hmm, I wonder if anyone in the five-state area around me want a loving ride for their machine from TA? Special delivery and inspected

In the past, I have bought many machines form both vendors (ebay and their web site).
I would rate them the same, average to very good.

Always check out the two dark horses, I have bought from them also, and I rate them Very Good to Great!

Re : that dave99999 guy, I have a thread in the ebay forum about it.

He has bought over 50 pachinkos in the last 3 months (before he turned his feedback private).

He managed to get a bid in right before closing, with under 3 second remaining and snatch a pachinko away from me that I was going to win

    My gut feeling is
UPS, (FEDEX , et al) managers emphasize package care more in the west, then in the east.
I hear all the horror stories, but locally I see the attention given to deliveries up stairs etc.
Maybe it's because Cali deliveryboys are all Baywatch extra wannabes

Im not a Union man per se & believe most of them are corrupt entities allowing slackers to keep their jobs only because they pay their dues on time, but there is usually a difference in quality of service from someone making $17 per hr with health ins & someone making $6.50 per hr with workmans comp.

Oh yeah, to get on subject, I think Curt's epidermus is showing!
