Stop buttons not functional on a old machine i found

I found a old machine from my basement that was made in 1994 its a solex 777 slot machine. I have no manual and cant find any info on it but i do have one key to open it. Everything works but when i put money in and let it spin every one of the stop buttons dont do anything when i stop it any help?

I've only worked on the one machine so far, a 2000 model. But I had the same symptoms....Hopefully the basic info might be of help.
Reels spun, stop buttons didn't do anything or light up.

My issue turned out to be a bad connection on one of the 3 wire connectors from reel 3 to the board.
I found the following troubleshooting aids...
On one of my CPU boards there was an LED's for each reel that blinked as each reel was spinning. (Mine was missing one of the three)
Also had 3 more LEDs that would light when each Stop button was pressed. (Showed the buttons circuit was ok )

Best advice as others have said, is to unplug each connector & clean good with contact cleaner.

My buttons light up on my motherboard there is a fuse which might be an issue but i have cleaned my plugs ans reseated them

I found a old machine from my basement

interesting phrase.

Check the fuse on the reel board. if blown, replace it, if it blows straight away when powered up, the board is faulty and you will have to replace the capacitors
