Pachislo error code Hb or H6

My Pachislo skill-stop machine will not stop chiming. Error code is Hb/H6. I have tried everything I have found online with no benefit. Have reset many many time and cleaned connections. It is not an empty hopper or jammed hopper issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

More details or a picture of your machine are always helpful.

With that said, check to see if there's a microswitch on the inside of door near where the lock is. This will sometimes reset an error that the usual methods haven't. The way it works on some machines is you turn the key one direction to unlock the machine, the other direction to depress that switch. You don't need the key to do it, you should be able to get to it with the machine open.

It is a Lucky Cherry machine. Unfortunately there are no model numbers in English. I will attach some pictures.

There is a switch on the inside of the door. If I hit that, it stops the chiming and reset the machine briefly. If I either play the machine or just leave it on and don't play it, it will start chiming continually and I get the same error code again (see pic). Thanks for the input.

Doesn't error as soon as you put a token in after the reset?

Have you tried a full reset?

I've searched several lists of error codes like this one https://www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/slot/...errorcode.html And I cant find an Hb or H6 error listed anywhere?? Although none of them had Okazaki specific error codes..

Full reset (sometimes referred to here as the hard reset) it includes changing or setting the odds as part of the procedure..

"TURN YOUR MACHINE OFF FIRST"

1. Locate internal key switch, and insert key.
Note: In order to change odds, machine must be in idle mode with no tokens/coins or credits being played and off.

2. Turn "reset" key switch to on, to access programming mode.

3. Turn on machine now.

4. Depending on machine type, a number from 1 to 6 will be displayed on one of the LED meters on front door.

5. Locate and push Odds setting button. Depress button and notice movement of number being displayed in LED meter.

6. Once desired level is displayed (1 to 6), push down on play handle (Joy Stick) for 10 seconds.

7. Turn "reset" key back to off.

8. Machine should immediately initialize. If not, turn power switch to the OFF position, wait 15 seconds and turn power switch back to ON position.

Did the full reset twice. After 1st round I got the same error code right away and the persistent chiming until I turned off the machine. Went through the full reset again. Was then able to play the machine for a few minutes. About 2 minutes after I stopped playing, the chimes randomly started up again and it displayed the same error code. So, the issue doesn't seem to trigger when a coin is inserted. If I do push the "odds setting button" (or one resource I found called it a "momentary" button) for a couple of seconds it does also stop and reset but that doesn't have any lasting power either.
I really do appreciate the suggestions and help!
I saw a book in one of the threads that is available on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285095004451. Do you think it would be worth purchasing?

I have that book and looked. There is no Hb or H6 error code listed. H codes usually mean something with the hopper. Will it pay out any coins or give you credits ? Have you tried holding down the spin lever or the button you've been pressing for minute befor releasing ?

I have seen an odd hopper error before. Not sure if it was this one, but I had manually emptied the hopper and while spinning the part the coins are laying flat in, had apparently spun it to a position it didn't like and it was throwing an error for it. Rotating the disc a little and doing a reset (on that machine it was a matter of turning the door key left after closing the door) solved it, but it took me a while to figure out since I hadn't seen that one yet.

Like some of the others, being it is a "H" code, it probably has to do with the hopper.

Make sure the dial in the bottom of the hopper turns, you should be able to turn it by hand. With a few tokens in the dial, turn the dial and make sure it ejects them.

There will be one or two sensors mounted underneath the hopper. A spring-loaded bar/tab pass through the sensors as you rotate the dial. The sensors could need cleaned or maybe the bar isn't moving back and forth correctly.

There are also usually two prongs mounted in the back of the cabinet, (normally on the right side of the hopper). Those are for the hopper overflow. A container would sit next to the hopper with an opening in the back for the prongs to stick into the container. As tokens overflowed from the hopper, into the container, the tokens would touch the prongs, thus completing the circuit and putting the machine into an error.

Make sure nothing is contacting the prongs. The wiring connection for the prongs probably plugs into the power supply and you can just unplug it, if you want.

Thank you for all the hopper related suggestions. Good to know the book is not the answer. It does issue credits when it briefly stops chiming and allows me to play it. I will try the other suggestions 1 by 1 over the weekend and reply back.

Just an update. I took out the hopper and thoroughly cleaned every hole and crevice I could reach. After the first full reset, I had the same issue. Did another full reset and it has been working fine since......guessing it was cleaning the hopper more thoroughly that was the answer. Thank you all for the help!
